Space is a huge theme in my work. It appears everywhere even when I didn’t intend to create it. I have gradually noticed this lately after reviewing lots of my work. Currently, I’m thinking of bringing my own architect mind back to the page. I might have intentionally suppressed this persona for a long time after taking a different path in the art world. Little did I know, architecture IS also art if I treat it well. I started to explore Space again in a contemporary approach

My First Panel Discussion: For the first time, I sat on a panel to "speak" about a fraction of what I’ve been doing on my picturebook journey during the session "Who’s Afraid of Sad Books?", which is very related to the theme of this year: "Picture Books: Supporting Children in Difficult Times". This was also a wonderful opportunity for me to look back and seriously review my own work.

I love bringing my sketchbook to the walking path in my apartment. There were a lot of people exercising everday.

"Sao Đâu?" ("Where are the stars?") is a dummy book project by artist Linh Khanh and artist Muoi. It was developed during the 2023 Picturebook Creative Camp hosted by Slow Circles in Da Lat, Viet Nam.

Drawing human is a difficult topic for me, including portrait, self-portrait. Also, there are a lot to talk a bout self-portrait. On the journey to exploring my self, I figured out that I’m the kind of person who store a lot of thoughts in mind, and somehow, these thoughts affected me in both positive and negative ways. As I said, I’m a “Thoughts-bearer”.
